Our Founders

Bob Santos

Bob grew up in the little western PA burg of Portage. He came to Christ in the spring of 1980 while attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), from which Bob graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.

Bob spent 16 years leading the college ministry of Brothers And Sisters In Christ (B.A.S.I.C.) at IUP and learning how to reach and grow disciples. During this time he also served in other local church and ministry capacities, including a total of three years as the Interim Director of B.A.S.I.C. College Ministries with offices in Lima, NY.

In addition to serving as the President of SfMe Ministries, Bob is currently the Southwest Pennsylvania Area Representative for Elim Fellowship.

Bob likes to fish, hunt, and garden as time allows. His Facebook author page can be found here.

Debi Santos

Debi, of Methodist roots, spent her early years in Valier, PA–a grand suburb of Punxsutawney (Yes, of groundhog fame–and yes, we’ve been to the official Groundhog Day celebration.) Debi’s Bachelor’s degree is in accounting.

Currently, Debi is employed as the Office Manager for Don Huey Custom Building and Remodeling. Her favorite form of rest and relaxation is reading cheesy (in Bob’s cheesy opinion) Amish novels on her Kindle.

Bob and Debi met through involvement with Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at IUP. They married in 1983, got involved with First Assembly of God Church (now the Summit Church) in Indiana, PA and birthed a couple of great kids  along the way. Bob and Debi began working with college students at IUP in 1992, while Bob eventually worked his way into “full-time” ministry.

From almost the beginning of their ministry efforts, Bob and Debi have been motivated by a strong desire to help develop godly, faithful, and gifted leaders and laborers for service to Christ.
